Catch them Doing Something Right

Are you an owner of a business that have employees to supervise? Tired of catching them doing wrong, again and again? Or are you a leader of a multi-level marketing that sales have gone drop?

Yes, we struggle on this situation but catching people doing things right is a powerful management concept.

How? I will recommend that you (Leaders) must spend at least an hour a week wandering around the operation if your people doing things right. Part of this, you must praise them for doing an excellent job. But effective praising must be specific. It is not just walking around saying, "Thanks for everything," because it is meaningless, no sense at all.

If you say, "Great Job," to a poor performer and "Great Job," to a good performer, you will sound ridiculous to the poor performer and you will "demotivate" the good performer.

Before praising or giving compliments to people, you must know how to do it in a right and appropriate timing because if you catch people doing things right will provide them satisfaction and it makes them proud and feel good about their selves. It will motivate them to do better and have a good performance, over and over again.

Remember to give praise immediately, make it specific, and finally, encourage people to keep up the good work.
